Shoox.org was bought in February 2009 by myself. I wanted a change from my previous domain (killthestars.net) and decided I also wanted something unique and original, And that’s what I came up with. Since February, Shoox has had a decent amount of hits and unique visitors. I’m hosted by Bravenet.com, and I would definitely recommend them. They’re mainly used by big companies and although they’re expensive, they never have any down-time or any server problems.
I hate the increase of small hosting sites, most of them are unreliable and pushy. So if you really want to host your website somewhere, check them out properly first. Even ask for a test trial with the log-in panels and everything they use and mainly; don’t let them push you into going with them. It’s your money and time after-all!
